March 7, 2016 (San Diego's East County)--A strong line of thunderstorms will continue across the area this morning. Brief, heavy downpours, dangerous lightning, gusty winds, small hail and slick roads are expected this morning. The snow level could drop to 4,000 feet tonight, with several inches of snow above 4,500 feet.

There is also a special marine warning that includes all coastal waters in San Diego County due to severe thunderstorms. Boaters are advised to move to shore until the storm passes.

Remember to never drive across flooded roadways, and go indoors when there is lightning in your area.
