SDSU WOMEN'S SOCCER TO HOLD SPRING ID CAMP

January 22, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women's soccer program is set to conduct an ID camp Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3, on the SDSU campus.

The ID camp, which will be led by head coach Mike Friesen and assistant coach Chassion Griggs, is designed for players to get maximum exposure in front of the Aztec coaching staff and allows attendees an opportunity to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental and advanced skills of soccer, an introduction to the tactical elements of the game, as well as exposing campers to the mental aspect of soccer.

October 26, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women’s soccer season came to a close with a 3-1 loss to New Mexico Friday evening.

After falling behind early, the Aztecs tied the match in the 26th minute on a Taylor Moorehead goal, but the Lobos tacked on two more to earn the 3-1 victory. The Aztecs finish the year with a 6-10-3 overall record and a 4-4-3 mark in Mountain West play, good for eighth place.

October 19, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State struck for a goal in the sixth minute, but could not hold onto the lead in what ended in a 1-1 double-overtime draw with Colorado College on a warm Friday night at SDSU Sports Deck. SDSU watched its record move to 5-9-3 (3-3-3 Mountain West), while the Tigers escaped with a record of 8-5-2 (4-3-2 MW).

The contest was SDSU’s final regular-season road outing of the year before it finishes with three straight home games.

The defending Mountain West champions will be in action for the first time on Friday, Aug. 10, for an exhibition and highlighting the schedule are 10 games in which the Aztecs will be the designated home team.
