7-11 ROBBED IN LA MESA

 
February 5, 2012 (La Mesa)–A suspect who claimed to be armed robbed the 7-11 at 4253 Palm Avenue early this morning. 
An employee reported that the suspect entered the store around 2:51 a.m., approached the counter, and simulated holding a gun beneath a towel. 

 

The suspect then announced that he was robbing the store and demanded cash. He fled eastbound on Echo Drive in a small dark colored vehicle.  The employee was not injured.

 
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 18 years old, 5’6” tall, 140 pounds, wearing a black hooded jacket.
