MASKED MAN ROBS 7-11 IN RANCHO SAN DIEGO AT GUNPOINT

February 16, 2013 (Rancho San Diego) – At 1:33 a.m.,  deputies from the Lemon Grove Sheriff’s Station responded to an armed robbery at the 7-11 store  at 1498 Jamacha Road in unincorporated El Cajon.

“The suspect in the robbery was a male, wearing a black jacket and jeans. The race of the suspect is unknown because he was wearing a mask,” said Sergeant V.J. Rivera.

During the robbery the suspect pointed a black gun at the clerk and demanded money. The suspect grabbed the money from the drawer and ran out of the store in an unknown direction. The exact loss is not known at this time.

Deputies on the ground utilized the assistance of the Sheriff’s ASTREA helicopter to search for the suspect, however they were not able to locate him.
