ACTIVIST MEETING: CLIMATE CHANGE AND XL KEYSTONE PIPELINE SEPT. 16

September 14, 2013 (San Diego) – Activist San Diego is holding a general meeting on September 16, beginning at 7 p.m., at Joyce Beers Center, 3900 Vermont St., San Diego.  The meeting will address climate change and the XL Keystone Pipeline.

Environmental activist, lobbyist and Al Gore-trained speaker Eve Simmons will present up-to-date facts, images and scientific data on climate change locally and around the globe and steps each of us can take to make a real difference.

Simon Mayeski from 350.org will talk about the importance of stopping XL Keystone Pipeline and what the impacts of tar sands development on the environment.
