February 1, 2019 (Santee) – The body of a man was found this morning around 7:50 a.m. in a riverbed in Santee by deputies responding to a report of a person down, underneath the Olive Lane overpass at Prospect Avenue.

“At this point there are no signs of foul play,” says Sergeant Phillip Beaumont.

The County Medical Examiner will conduct an investigation to determine the identify of the deceased man and the cause of death.
