Two people were injured after a fight ended in a shooting and stabbing in Lakeside on Saturday, November 25.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m., deputies from the Lakeside Sheriff's substation responded to reports of a shooting in the 12000 block of Woodside Avenue.
“When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive his injuries. Deputies also found a 16-year-old boy who had been stabbed. He was transported to a hospital, treated and later released,” says Lieutenant Chris Katra.
A male juvenile was taken into custody and booked into Juvenile Hall for the stabbing. The suspect of the shooting is still at large.
