December 28, 2023 (San Diego) -- Solana Center for Environmental Innovation will host a virtual webinar titled “Healthy Soils Program Grant Basics” on January 16 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The next grant solicitation period for the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s (CDFA) Healthy Soils Program (HSP) opens in January 2024. This grant opportunity provides financial assistance to California farmers, growers, and ranchers for the implementation of one or more HSP-approved agricultural management practices to improve soil health, including compost & mulch application, cover cropping, no-till methods, conservation planting, and more, to sequester carbon and reduce atmospheric greenhouse gases (GHGs). During this one-hour webinar, Solana Center, a Technical Assistance Provider for the HSP program, will dive into the details of how to apply for this grant.
