GUATAY MAN FOUND DEAD AT WORKSITE IN ESCONDIDO

April 1, 2017 (Guatay) – Jack Rafael Ruiz, 66, of Guatay died on March 30th at a home he was working on as a pest control employee at 1526 Oak Hill Drive in Escondido.  According to the Medical Examiner’s office, a coworker left for two hours and upon return, found Ruiz unresponsive on the back patio with head trauma.

Paramedics responded to a 911 call and tried to resuscitate Ruiz, to no avail. Death was pronounced via radio contact with a local physician at 1:59 p.m.  Escondido Police have indicated that Ruiz is believed to have fallen at least 10 feet to his death.
