Total Views: 33   October 22, 2013 (Alpine) – A “Music of the Masters” chamber music concert will be presented on Saturday, November 9 at 3 p.m. at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 1460 Midway Drive in Alpine. Directed by Sylvia Lorraine Hartman, the concert will feature Gregory Lawrence, violin; Melissa Hartman, flute; Ian Lawrence, guitar; The Christ the King Singers; and Sylvia Hartman, piano and harp. Tickets are $25 for the concert and include a wine and cheese reception with the artists following the concert (intermission is “no-host”). There will be a silent auction and an art display as well. BUILD A GINGERBREAD HOUSE DECEMBER 15TH 4.4K

Total Views: 39 December 3, 2012 (Alpine) – Christ the King Episcopal Church is hosting a gingerbread house decorating event on Dec. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1460 Midway Drive, Alpine. Tickets are sold per gingerbread house and are $20 each. More than one person can work on one house or each person can purchase their own. The gingerbread houses are pre-assembled and ready for decoration with extra icing and candy supplied. The event also includes hot dogs, delicious treats and a free souvenir photo in front of a life size gingerbread house. There will be three opportunity drawings, The kids will have the opportunity to write a letter to Santa and there will be a “kids only” shopping booth in addition to other opportunities to pick up unique gifts or holiday décor. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit Boulder Oaks Elementary School as well as other church ministries.
