WINE AND CHEESE PAIRINGS JUNE 20 AT CAMPO CREEK VINEYARDS

June 15, 2018 (Campo) – Campo Creek Vineyards and Cheeses from the Cave have teamed up to offer a wine and cheese pairing event on Wednesday, June 20 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Campo Creek Vineyards’ tasting room now located at 13538 Poway Road in Poway.

Tickets are $20 for four wine tastings and cheese pairings. Cheeses include:

Jarlsberg balanced by orange slices marinated in Cointreau atop a lemon shortbread cookie paired with a Viognier
Triple crème brie-style cheese with strawberry jam and fresh strawberries in balsamic and basil on a brioche cracker, paired with blushing rose
Curado, a version of Manchego made with fresh cow’s milk rubbed with smoked paprika and oil, along with roasted heirloom tomatoes and fresh peaches, served with Zinfandel
Ricotta on a chocolate graham cracker drizzled in goat’s milk caramel sauce with grated chocolate, served with Syrah
