May 1, 2017 (Ramona) — Lane closures with one-way traffic control are scheduled on State Route 67 (SR-67) at the Dye Road/Highland Valley Road intersection in Ramona, Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. The closures are needed to accommodate intersection widening work for the SR-67 Dye Road/Highland Valley Road Project.

The intersection will remain open during construction operations, however, motorists can expect slower moving traffic and are advised to allow extra time to reach their destinations.

The SR-67 Dye Road/Highland Valley Road Improvement Project will widen SR-67 at the intersection from one to two through lanes in each direction and include additional turn lanes on SR-67 to improve traffic flow. Construction is expected to be completed in summer.

More information about the SR-67 Dye Road/Highland Valley Road Improvement Project may be found at www.dot.ca.gov/d11/projects/67_DyeRoad.pdf.

Motorists are reminded to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment in the project area. The work schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
