May 25, 2019 (San Diego’s East County) – The National Weather Service is forecasting wind gusts up to 65 miles per hour Sunday on mountain crests and desert slopes of San Diego’s East County. 
 
Rain is also forecast across Southern California, with heaviest rains in neighboring San Bernardino County, where up to five inches may fall.  Above 5,500 feet, snow is predicted.
 
Fair weather is expected to return Monday, just in time for Memorial Day picnics and other outdoor activities.
