ARRESTS MADE IN RANCHO SAN DIEGO HOME INVASION ROBBERY

April 29, 2011 (Rancho San Diego) – Four suspects have been arrested for allegedly participating in a home invasion robbery in which a Rancho San Diego family was brutally assaulted and their dog shot. The home invasion occurred on December 15, 2010 on Wildwood Drive.

According to the Sergeant Jeff Maxin with the San Diego Sheriff Department, Detective Michael Moore from the Lemon Grove substation coordinated the arrests. Ranse Shaba, 19, was taken into custody yesterday morning in San Diego and Christopher Salmu, 45, was arrested while getting a haircut in National City. Two other suspects, Steve Goria, 32, and David Gates, 34, were already in custody on unrelated charges.
 

The investigation is continuing.
