CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR FORMER LEMON GROVE COUNCILMAN TOM CLABBY ON JUNE 17

June 12, 2023 (Lemon Grove) – A celebration of life service for former Lemon Grove City Councilman Tom Clabby will be held on Saturday, June 17 from 1-4 p.m.at the H. Lee House in Treganza Heritage Park, 3200 Main Street in Lemon Grove.

Clabby passed away on January 22 in the company of family and friends. He served on the Lemon Grove City Council for 14 years from 1994 to 2008, after previously serving on the city’s planning commission. He was also the city’s appointed representative to Metropolitan Transit System, providing leadership at the agency.

He  was a driving force behind building the Lemon Grove Library, serving on the Lemon Grove School District’s bond oversight committee, and was also instrumental in the city acquiring the historic H. Lee  House and moving it to the park. He also volunteered in many community organizations.
