September 24, 2019 (La Mesa) – From jazz to classic and modern music, to swing infused with an indie-pop vibe, plus country, pop, blues, and retro-funk, Ed Kornhauser plays it all. The pianist and keyboardist will be live at The Table: United Church of Christ in La Mesa (5940 Kelton Ave.) on Sunday, October 27 at 2 p.m.
The concert is part of the Valerie Victor Concert Series at The Table. (A freewill offering will be collected.)
Kornhauser has played in many popular venues in the San Diego music scene such as Normal Heights’ neighborhood pub Rosie O’Grady’, the upscale Westgate Hotel and the retro cocktail lounge in Golden Hills, Turf Supper Club. Also known for his work backing such noted vocalists as Leonard Patton and Whitney Shay, he holds the piano chair in the drummer-led Matt Smith Neu Jazz Trio, sharing with them the credit for two albums of original music.
