EMPLOYEE INJURED IN RECYCLING CENTER ROBBERY

December 18, 2012 (Spring Valley ) – Two gunmen forced employees to lay on the office floor at the recycling center at 1069 Elkelton Blvd. in Spring Valley at 10:34 a.m. today. After demanding money, suspects assaulted one of the workers, then stole their wallets.

The employee sustained minor injuries, Sgt. V. J. Rivera with the San Diego Sheriff's Lemon Grove substation reported. The suspects, two black males in dark clothing, were last seen running across the street into an apartment complex. Deputies searched the area and checked several units in the complex, but were unable to find the suspects.
