HOME INVASION ROBBERY IN ALLIED GARDENS

January 24, 2011 (Allied Gardens) – A resident a 7300 Viar Avenue in Allied Gardens was locked in a closet during a home invasion robbery yesterday. According to Officer J. Jacobsen with San Diego Police, the two suspects entered through the kitchen door, one armed with a gun.

The gun-wielding suspect was described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches, wearing a ski mask, black T-shirt and jeans. The other suspect was a black man in his mid-20s with a mustache, weighing about 220 pounds; he wore a black shirt and black sweatpants.

Two unloaded weapons were stolen from the home. San Diego Police robbery division is investigating the crime.
