If you find yourself craving a ceramic bird whistle, a new painting, zucchini plants or luffa sponges, you’re likely to find them at the Bathhouse Bazaar.

August 28, 2023 (Jacumba Hot Springs) - High desert heat, the cold, the wind - the threat of a category 2 hurricane - the elements have not diminished interest in Jacumba’s lively backcountry street market, The Bathhouse Bazaar, now in its 3rd year.

In fact, with the pleasant weather of summer and fall upon us, the shady oasis park at Jacumba’s Old Bathhouse has even more appeal. You still could find that cherished piece of furniture, sports hat, gemstone necklace or collectible you didn’t know you always wanted.

Vendors offer a variety of enticing goods, from plants to tools to jewelry and art and craft items. Wood design, mushroom products, baked treats, rocks and gemstones, and solar generators are all for sale - a live music performance and there’s free use of kayaks at the lake.

Jacumba’s Bathhouse Bazaar is held the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Also featured are local businesses Gilliam Gallery and Impossible Railroad Trading Post just across Highway 80 from the Bazaar.

To reserve a free vendor space at the next Bazaar, reach out to Becky beckyperson@me.com or contact Natalie natalie@jacumbahotsprings.com or just arrive at 9 a.m. and sign-up on arrival.
