East County News ServiceOctober 30, 2019 (Lemon Grove) – The Lemon Grove Multi-Cultural Diversity Event will provide an opportunity for residents to connect with each other through music, dance and art and to share their diverse perspectives, cultures, and values in a space where all can be accepted, appreciated and celebrated.
This event will be held on November 9th from 2 to 5 p.m. in Promenade Park, 3240 Main Street in Lemon Grove.
Organizer Joyce Moore states, “In Lemon Grove, we value diversity because it strengthens our community and contributes to our longevity. It is important to recognize the abundant diversity of cultures, identities and acknowledge the many contributions of our community members. Discovering opportunities to meet people and make an earnest effort to learn more about their backgrounds and uniqueness is crucial to personal and community growth.”
This event is organized by Thrive Lemon Grove.
