October 8, 2015 (San Diego)--Do you or a loved one have a mental health challenge? Do you have ideas about what behavioral health programs and services are needed in your community?
Agency is seeking input from the public and professionals about the types of mental health programs needed in San Diego County. Twelve regional forums will take place throughout the County in October to gather input from people living with mental illness, their families and behavioral health services providers.

The information gathered will help the Health and Human Services Agency determine how to spend Federal and State funding, including Mental Health Services Act funding, which was approved by California voters in 2004. The Act imposes a 1 percent tax on personal income above $1 million for the creation of new mental health programs statewide.
