January 26, 2016 (La Mesa) -- You’re invited to come hear from city staff, real estate professionals and business leaders about the future of La Mesa’s downtown. The discussion will cover market trends, recent policy changes and public investments to encourage investment and walkability downtown.  



The panel will share their predictions, and hopes for one of La Mesa’s economic, cultural, and transportation centers. Following the panel presentation, there will be a moderated Q&A for all participants.



The panel discussion will include:



Moderator: Barry Jantz, CEO of Grossmont Health Care District & Past La Mesa City Councilperson

Panelist: Dave Witt, La Mesa City Manager

Panelist: Chris D’Avignon, Land and Design, The Quarry Apartments

Panelist: Mary England, CEO and President of the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce

Panelist: Shon Finch, Fairfield Development

Introductory remarks will be given by Colin Parent, Policy Counsel of Circulate San Diego, and a La Mesa Conversations committee member.
