REPAIR, REUSE AND RECYCLE IN RAMONA NOV. 3

October 30, 2012 (Ramona) – County of San Diego Departments of Public Works and Environmental Health are holding a Recycling Event and Reuse & Repair Fair in Ramona, at 1401 Hanson Lane on Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Local experts will be on hand to demonstrate how to repair and reuse questionable or broken items.

Items eligible for recycling include tires, appliances, scrap metal and green waste.  Paper shredding will also be available.  Hazardous household waste can be dropped off at the County of San Diego, HHW Facility at 324 Maple Street, Ramona from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Various workshops will be held during the event including Home Weatherization, Bicycle Maintenance, Automotive Maintenance, Recycled Art, plus many more.
