February 13, 2020 (Albuqerque) - The Aztec track and field team wrapped up the first day of the Don Kirby Elite Invitational at the Albuquerque Convention Center Thursday evening. Only seven Aztecs competed but three earned top three finishes.

Maya Brosch finished in second in the unseeded portion of the 400m dash with a time of 55.82, a new PR. Kasey Ebb came in 12th (56.88)

Pole vaulters Kaitlin Heri and Molly Scharmann cleared 13-01.75 (4.01m) to take second and third. It was a personal best for Heri and Scharmann, a Washington State transfer, had her best vault as an Aztec.
