April 5, 2018 (San Diego) - No. 21 San Diego State withstood a late push by No. 23 California Baptist, but ultimately prevailed, 3-2, Thursday afternoon at Aztec Aquaplex. The win propelled SDSU to 11-13 overall and 3-1 in the Golden Coast, while the Lancers fell to 14-14 (2-2 GCC).

March 28, 2018 (Morro Bay, Calif.) - The No. 21 San Diego State water polo team fell to T-No. 1 California, 15-7, Wednesday night at the Morro Bay High School Aquatic Center in Morro Bay, Calif. The Aztecs dropped to 10-13 on the season with the loss, while the Bears improved to 16-3.

With the victory, SDSU finishes the weekend with a 3-1 record, improving to 8-10 overall, while the Bison slip to an identical 8-10 mark on the year.

January 17, 2018 (Spring Valley) - For the first high school coverage of the new year, ECM traveled to Spring Valley, where the Vaqueros of El Capitan saw the Monte Vista Monarchs in the pool.  The lady Monarchs have a rough start to the season, going 2-4 overall and winless in league (0-2).  The Vaqueros are doing a little better; 6-5 overall but also winless (0-2) in league.

As a three-time team Most Valuable Player and All-CIF selection coming out of El Toro High School in Lake Forest, Calif., expectations were high for Campoli as she continued her water polo career at SDSU.
