has a few hard rules. Break them at your own risk.
Here are a few:
Never offer an alcoholic a drink.
Never give a drug addict money or drugs.
Never give politicians money. They need information, not more cash.
Don’t expect taxes to ever go down.
Don’t bail out investment bankers. They will just want more.
Actually,
money is like a drug to Bankers and Politicians anyway. Pretty soon the line
between the bankers and the politicians becomes fuzzy.
The structural problems
in the US economy will not go away even if we manage to provide liquidity so
the economy does not go belly up.
1. We still need to buy oil on the world market.
2. Real unemployment is at 10%
3. We are hemorrhaging jobs and entire factories
4. We owe the Chinese billions.
5. The rich are getting richer. Why should they change?
6. Propping up the Stock Market without restoring consumer confidence will
not fix the economy.
7. Socialism for the rich is still socialism.
8. The US taxpayer is about to buy worthless property that cannot ever be resold.
9. This entire ‘crisis’ was caused by the very same Wall Street Bandits
who created the crisis in the first place.
10. This bail-out will cause instant 10% inflation which will show up nearly
instantaneously and hurt the poor the most.
