September 1, 2012 (Spring Valley)--Pamela Sue LeBlanc, 45, was walking through a parking lot in the 9900 block of Campo Road in Spring Valley on August 27 shortly before noon when she was struck by an out-of-control vehicle.
The driver immediately pulled over. Numerous witnesses attempted to help LeBlanc and 911 was called. Law enforcement and paramedics responded, performing advanced cardiac life support. The victim was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital and taken into surgery, but died despite aggressive medical intervention, the San Diego Medical Examiner's office reports.
LeBlanc, who was single, resided in an apartment in Spring Valley.
