June 1, 2026 (El Cajon) – This week, 4,725 students will graduate from the Grossmont Union High School District.
The matriculating students will be earning their high school diplomas on Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, June 4, from the district’s nine comprehensive high schools, two independent charter schools, one middle college high school, one Project Based Learning school of choice and two special education academies.
The district will graduate 375 students from El Cajon Valley, 395 students from El Capitan, 578 students from Granite Hills, 444 students from Grossmont, 582 students from Helix Charter, 291 students from Monte Vista, 316 students from Mount Miguel, 418 students from Santana, 507 students from Steele Canyon, 375 students from Valhalla, 315 students from West Hills 18 students from Grossmont Middle College, 34 students from IDEA Center, 4 students from ELITE Academy and 17 students from MERIT Academy.
Serving more than 16,000 students across 465 square miles in East County, GUHSD encompasses El Cajon, Santee, Lemon Grove, most of La Mesa, parts of San Diego, and the unincorporated communities of Alpine, Dulzura, Jamul, Lakeside and Spring Valley.
