ECM PADRES REPORT: ANOTHER EASY LOSS

April 17, 2023 (San Diego) - The Brewers left the Padres reevaluating their lives, but luckily, the Braves came to San Diego and the Padres had a good series against them in Atlanta.  Max Fried started game one tonight for Atlanta against Ryan Weathers.

Austin Riley kicked things off in the first with a two-run homer and again, an easy win was all the visitor needed to sit the Padres down.  The Braves won 2-0.

Game two is tomorrow at 6:40 p.m.  Spencer Strider starts for the Braves against Blake Snell.
