August 16, 2023 (San Diego) - Last night, the Padres had a fantastic game, their best in a while.  They looked to take the series tonight.  Dean Kremer started for Baltimore against Blake Snell.

Anthony Santander snagged the lead on a sac fly in the first that scored Adley Rutschman and the Orioles led 1-0 after one.

Fernando Tatis Jr. evened the game with a single in the third that scored Trent Grisham.  Xander Bogaerts singled to score Ha-Seong Kim and Jake Cronenworth scored Tatis Jr. on a single and the Padres led 3-1 after three.

Ryan Mountcastle narrowed the gap with a solo homer in the sixth and the Padres led 3-2 after six.

Grisham saved the day with a solo homer in the seventh and Tatis Jr. stole home and the Padres shockingly took the series 2-1 with a 5-2 win.
