May 2, 2023 (San Diego) - The Padres had a really solid win last night at home for the first time in a while. They tried to take the series tonight with Graham Ashcraft on the mound for the Reds against Michael Wacha.
Juan Soto kicked off the scoring with a double in the third to score Manny Machado and the Padres led 1-0 after three.
Jake Fraley provided the equalizer with a single in the eighth that scored T.J. Friedl and we were tied at one after eight.
We went to extras and it didn’t take long for Jonathan India to single to score Matt Reynolds and to give the Reds the 2-1 win to even the series.

The rubber game tomorrow is at 1:10 p.m. Luis Cessa starts for Cincinnati against Seth Lugo.
