LES MISERABLES REVIEW - CYT PRODUCTION OCT.25 - NOV. 3 AT JOAN KROC THEATRE

By Kathy Carpenter

October 29, 2019 (La Mesa) - Over the past several years, I have been to numerous productions of Les Miserables at the Joan Kroc Theatre. Most of them featured young actors, most of them amazing. CYT's production is no exception. Spectacular. These young actors have phenomenal voices which is needed for these powerful songs. If this is a show you love or if you want something new to love, please support them.

LES MIS IN CONCERT AT SDSU: AN EPIC MUSICAL PRODUCTION

December 6, 2014 – Those of us who love musicals know the importance of the storyline. But it’s the music that expresses the power, the grief, and the love that make Les Miserables the world’s longest running musical.

SDSU’s School of Theatre, Television and Film has teamed up with the School of Music and Dance to present “Les Miserable, the Concert” – a lavish production focused on music, not stagecraft, with nearly 200 musical performers on stage throughout the evening.  This production is like skipping to the good parts without missing the plot.  A final performance will be held Sunday, December 7th at 2 p.m.  (For tickets visit http://ttf.sdsu.edu/.)

Christian Community Theater has been entertaining San Diegans and providing quality theatrical productions for over 30 years.

This summer’s performance of Les Misérables is exceptional for its casting, talent, music and singing, costumes, child actors, and technology in a fine outdoor performance of this epic work. Also, it is a return to Mt. Helix for CCT after being away for seven years.  Christian Youth Theater also participated in this production.
