ARTISTS’ RECEPTION SEPT. 12 AT ST. CLAIR GALLERY

September 11, 2010 (El Cajon ) - The 21st Invitational Art Exhibit at St. Clair Gallery, featuring over 165 pieces of fine art, runs through September 17. An artists’ reception will be held on September 12 from 3 to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

ARTIST'S RECEPTION JULY 2 IN LA MESA

 

 

July 1, 2010 (La Mesa) -  A reception for local artist Judith Burnett will be held Friday evening, July 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Foothills Gallery, where an exhibition of Burnett's paintings and sculptures will be featured through August 4.  Burnett's daughter, guitarist Lauren Burnett, will provide musical entertainment at Friday's reception.

O'DUNN FINE ART CELEBRATES GRAND RE-OPENING TODAY AT 5:30

February 18, 2010 (La Mesa)--The public is invited to a reception and grand-reopening of O'Dunn Fine Art from 5:30 to 7:30 today.   The gallery has moved to a newer, larger location at 8325 La Mesa Boulevard, across the street from its original space in La Mesa's downtown village.

What better way to do some early holiday shopping and enjoy the beautiful backroads and byways near the historic gold mining town of Julian?

ARMCHAIR IMPRESSIONISTS EXHIBITION NOV. 1-30: RECEPTION NOV. 15

November 7, 2009 (El Cajon) -- Renown Western artist, illustrator, and art instructor Jack Jordon and watercolorist Carol Harris are special guest artists at this year’s Armchair Impressionists Exhibition. Paintings by armchair Impressionists Jeffrey Graham, Rustin Holec, David Lawhead, Karen Marsh, and William Marsh will be featured November 1 -30 at the Rancho San Diego Library, 11555 Via Rancho San Diego in El Cajon.  The public is invited to join the artists at a reception November 15th from 2 – 4 pm in the Community Room.

 

The Armchair Impressionists are five artists who came together as Grossmont College of Community Learning students under the tutelage of  Jordan. The group meets to offer support and encouragement as they submit their paintings to venues available to artists in and around San Diego County.

October 12, 2009 (La Mesa) – An exhibition of abstract artwork by noted artist Dawn Sebaugh opens tomorrow and will run through October 25 at O’Dunn Fine Art in La Mesa. In addition, the gallery will host a champagne reception where guests can meet the artist on Saturday, October 17th from 4-8 p.m.

PREMIER WESTERN , LANDSCAPE & PORTRAIT ARTIST JACK JORDAN HAS AUGUST SHOWING IN LA MESA

 

 

July 28, 2009 (La Mesa)-- Twenty oil paintings by El Cajon resident Jack Jordan are now on display through the end of August at the Dr. William C. Herrick Community Health Care Library, 9001 Wakarusa St. in La Mesa. The artwork includes landscapes, western themes and portraits. Jordan is a premier oil painter whose work has appeared in national magazines and many galleries in the U.S. and Mexico.
