October 7, 2018 (San Diego) - The politically correct can’t complain today; ECM Sports is bringing you both men’s and women’s soccer from SDSU.  Yesterday, Aztec football narrowly defeated the Broncos 19-13.  The lady Aztecs would try to hand the orange and blue a double weekend whammy in two different sports.

Much like the men earlier in the day, the lady Aztecs and Broncos endured a scoreless first half, with the Aztecs leading 6-3 in shots on goal.  And also like the men earlier today, the visiting team broke the ice in the second half.  Broncos true freshman Macie Nelson headed it in after a corner to give the Broncos the 1-0 win, carrying it till the end to remain perfect in Mountain West conference play, moving to 5-0.  The Aztecs fall to 4-8 overall and 2-2 in conference.

The lady Aztecs are back on the road on Friday when they travel to Nevada.  First tap from Reno is set for 6:30 p.m.
