February 27, 2021 (San Diego) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (0-1-1) fell to No. 4 Stanford (4-0-0) 1-0 in extra time Saturday evening in their home opener. The Cardinal scored the game-winner in the first minute of extra time.

February 20, 2021 (Los Angeles) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (0-0-1) played UCLA (1-1-1) to a 1-1 draw on the road Saturday evening.

UCLA struck first, scoring in the 73rd minute, and then SDSU’s Blake Bowen tied it up five minutes later after redirecting a free kick.

November 16, 2019 (San Diego) - The Aztec men’s soccer team closed out the season with a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to UCLA on the SDSU Sports Deck Saturday evening. The Bruins scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute, ending a streak of 298 scoreless minutes for the Aztec defense.

November 9, 2019 (San Diego) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (4-11-2) played Omaha (3-8-4) to a 0-0 draw Friday evening on the SDSU Sports Deck.

The Aztecs outshot Omaha 22-6 and had the advantage of playing a man up for the match’s final 94 minutes after the Mavericks’ Billy Hoffmann was issued a red card in the 17th minute.

October 13, 2019 (San Diego) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (3-7-1, 0-5-0) fell to No. 7 Stanford (9-1-2, 3-1-1) 1-0 Sunday afternoon on the SDSU Sports Deck.

After a forgettable 4-0 loss to Cal Thursday, the Aztecs bounced back and went toe-to-toe with the Cardinal, who have won three of the last four national championships.

October 6, 2019 (Los Angeles) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (3-5-1, 0-3-0) lost at UCLA 5-2 Sunday evening behind five goals from the Bruins’ Milan Iloski.

The Aztecs scored in the second minute but then saw Iloski score five unanswered goals before SDSU found the back of the net in the 89th minute.

September 14, 2019 (Santa Clara) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (2-2-1) played Santa Clara to a 1-1 draw Saturday evening at Buck Shaw Field.

Santa Clara scored in the 40th minute but then saw their goalkeeper be issued a red card in the 64th minute. The Aztecs tied the match up in the 76th minute on a Keegan Kelly header and had a flurry of opportunities in the final minutes of regulation and extra time but couldn’t find the back of the net.
